This one-day workshop offers a practical and creative introduction to the Fighting Monkey toolbox—open to both new and returning practitioners.
Through movement tasks, partner games, and structured improvisation, we’ll explore how to train responsiveness, rhythm, and resilience in a dynamic and social environment. The aim is to offer tools with real-life application—supporting both personal development and professional practice.
🔹 What We'll Explore
Zero Forms
A solo movement practice to support structural integrity, rhythm, and creative clarity.
You’ll explore:
Stillness – Observe and locate yourself
Joint Articulation – Understand your structure
Coordination – Cultivate rhythm and synergy
Improvisation – Discover new patterns
Voice – Where do you resonate the best?
These tools promote physical elasticity, support injury prevention, and develop your personal movement intelligence.
Movement Situations
Partner-based obstacle games that challenge timing, awareness, and adaptability in complex situations.
You’ll relate to space, objects, and others, while testing and expanding your strategies for moving, thinking, and learning. These dynamic interactions will help you sharpen how you move, sense, and adapt under pressure.
🔹 About the Practice
Fighting Monkey is a movement practice for human development founded by Linda Kapetanea and Jozef Fruček, based on the study of communication, adaptability, and the aging process.
It supports practitioners in building coordination, creativity, and decision-making—not for performance, but for life.
