Life Supporting practice is built upon a never ending process of creative questioning

We want to create a practice hub that is open to diverse groups of people who dare to explore principles of human movement and communication in an environment that is dynamic, challenging and supportive.

Frequently asked questions

A good practice is built upon honesty and clarity

Why should I do this? What is the difference from my fitness, physio, dance practice?

Our practice consists of a constant playful testing of our body to identify errors and create tools to improve them. We are focusing on practical needs rather than creating prefabricated, fixed solutions and unverifiable beliefs. Physical, psychological, cognitive and emotional functioning of our organism is highly interconnected and a practice that is built on interaction, communication and varied stimulating challenges addresses that. We create games to help people to understand the principles and orientate themselves in the complexities of their own organism with more clarity.

We back up the practice through our personal engagement. We work on ourselves and the material every day. Our intention is to propose honest, practical and challenging learning environments that can serve to different people and interconnect principles and ideas from different fields. That should allow our students to define, simplify and keep developing their own practice which can help them to address the complexities of their lives.

Can I do it? Am I ready? Is it for me?

Short answer is yes. Our main philosophy is that we work with what is available. We enter the practice in whatever state and condition we currently are in and we look how to attune the organism to enhance our openness for learning. There is nothing to achieve and no given distinction between beginners and advanced. We always focus on better communication and people learn very well together if they are different. Even though the practice might be challenging sometimes, everyone can choose the intensity of their participation and work with any limitations they have. We accept ourselves even if we are not performing "well" and we insist that our students are supportive to others while creating nourishing learning environments.

Will I become healthier, more mobile, stronger, cognitively sharper...?

We do not give false promises and we understand that our health, fitness and cognition are also determined by chance and circumstances outside our control. However, we provide our students with many practical tools to test and stimulate their organism and we are aim to keep them inspired and curious. With more taste for solving life challenges, learning and a consistent and playful work the viability of any organism has a tendency to grow rapidly.

Will I look better?

It is not important to us. We focus on care about our choices and actions and the clarity with which we experience the world. We try to identify and work on what is needed rather than aspiring to some ideals imposed from outside. However, most of the times an organism that is vital is glowing also in its external appearance.

How soon can I expect results?

Not all the important things can be easily measured. We try to support people not only by providing material and guidance how to support and develop different systems of the organism but also to define what is important and relevant for them. The results depend on the attention, care and consistency you put in the practice. Many times people discover that the life-supporting practice is more about how they feel in their body, if they are free to move and interact with the world and fully enjoy the day to day life without experiencing their body as an obstacle.

How much time do I need to put in the practice?

That is up to you. Every one of use lives is in a different landscape of possibilities, limitations and needs and there is always a way to create space for a beneficial practice and to connect it with the rhythm of life. We dot prescribe fixed training routines and we do not make false promises of any kind. We very much appreciate students who are willing to invest their attention and work so that positive changes could be triggered.
